Biagiotti Progetto Arte is a space dedicated to contemporary art that was founded in 1997 in Florence with the aim of promoting young contemporary artists, first as a gallery and later, in 2012, as a non-profit private foundation.

The exhibition program, rich and multiform, has seen personal and collective exhibitions of both Italian and foreign artists, with photographic works, videos, installations, street art, painting and performance.

The research activity and the commitment to promoting young emerging artists has led to collaborations with cultural institutions and important museums both in Italy and abroad, such as the E. Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum; Museum of Art and Design in New York; Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, Peekskill, New York; the Macro Museum in Rome; the “Luigi Pecci” Center for Contemporary Art in Prato; the Contemporary Culture Center Strozzina, at the Strozzi Foundation in Florence.

Biagiotti Progetto Arte has become a non-profit private foundation dedicated to the sponsorship and exhibition of contemporary art exhibitions and public cultural events, such as readings, meetings with critics and art curators, direct contact with University students and schools.

In addition, the organization also supports other projects in Florence and abroad with the aim of offering the opportunity to share and understand the contemporary art scene.
